OH dear, you guys sure are suffering a cold and snowy winter!

It must be hard with housebound kids to accommodate! (I was going to say 'entertain' but I guess they must learn to entertain themselves when stuck inside for long periods)

The thought of spring and a lovely garden to play in must keep you all going!

If its any consolation - we have had such and amazing sunny january and so far in february that I am longing for some rain!

Everything is way too dry, farmers are viewing dried up paddocks and the air needs refreshing.

Hi, Mrinz!! So glad you're back, and that you had a wonderful holiday.

Yes, I must remember to cast my mind back to the first few weeks we had here in August... It was a long, hot, dry summer, and I returned from our cottage to find my entire garden crisp and brown and nearly d-e-a-d!! Quite traumatic, altogether!!

More snow is coming our way tomorrow, with high winds, so we're off to shop and bring in supplies to last us through till Monday. The kids are thrilled with the snow, and spent the morning sledding and building snow men, like these ones.

Lots of love to you-- xox CGF
