Children's Literature 101

Well, she's at it again, folks...

Wee Three had out the ol' nursery rhyme book, and was doing her best to read "Baa, Baa, Black Sheep" (which is one of our favourites, being knitterly, after all):

Wee Three: Baa, baa, black sheep! Have you any wool?
Yes, sir, yes, sir! Three bags full!
ONE for the master, and ONE for the dame,
(dramatic pause, accompanied by a deep scowl)
And one for the little boy WHO IS SUCH A PAIN...

I swear, people, she didn't get this from me. (Although I THINK I know the little guy she's talking about, from her Junior Kindergarten class...)

Wee Three: (in her very best choral hooligan holler)
TAKE ME OUT TO THE BAAAAAALLGAME!
Take me out with the crooooooowd!
Buy me some peanuts and AP-PLE JUICE...

See what I mean?

If she were being fed these lines by me, she would definitely have ordered a beer.
