Truth for today.

The stresses of daily life are proving too much.  And sometimes, it takes the almighty Karma to smack you up the side of the head, to make you take your foot off the gas.

It's time to stop thinking with my heart all the time, instead of my head.

Time to let go:  The job is just a JOB.

My LIFE is my kids, and my creativity.

It's time I got back to more of my life.

(Thanks, Karma.  I needed that.)

It takes a crisis sometimes to bring us back to earth with a jolt and identify the things that really matter.

You are so right, Merinz (as always!!) This one has definitely jolted me back into reality, and helped me to see what is TRULY important.

Nan-- Thank you. I feel your hug across all these miles, and appreciate it more than you know.

I have one friend battling metastatic melanoma, and another whose 40 y o husband just had a life-altering brain stem stroke.

Those kinds of things REALLY bring me much needed perspective.

Your journey of late offers reflections that put into words the experiences I've been struggling with ... thank you.

Know that even in the dark shadowy moments when we feel SO frustrated and ALONE - we aren't ... in those moments a faint light of hope appears and our journey carries us forward!!

Thank you my friend - your words are inspiring (albeit a little gut wrenching in places!), and we are better for you sharing them and the wisdom gleaned from a life well lived!!

Peace,
